How to 'Factory Reset' the SV11


There are a number of reasons why you might want to Factory Reset your SV11. Whether you're giving the SV11 to someone else and don't want them to access your information, or maybe you're having trouble and need to start from scratch.


Factory Reset the SV11 WITH the Android TV Menu:


01: Press the HOME button on the Remote Control.


02: Follow the steps according to the Android TV Menu.

  • Select Settings → Device Preferences → About → Reset   Factory Reset.


03: Select Delete Everything.

  • The Factory Reset may take a few moments.  After the Factory Reset process completes successfully, your SV11 will proceed into the First Time Installation.


WARNING: If you perform a Factory Reset, all of the SV11's data and settings, such as Network Information, Google Account Details, and installed Apps, etc. will be erased, and the SV11 will return to how it was at the time of purchase.


If you're unable to access the Android TV Menu, on the side of the SV11, there's a small 'Reset' button.


Factory Reset the SV11 WITHOUT the Android TV Menu:


01: Remove the power (unplug) from the SV11.


02: Press/Hold the 'Reset' button, on the SV11.


03: Reconnect the power to the SV11, still hold the 'Reset' button.

  • Keep the 'Reset' button held for 15 seconds, as the SV11 turns ON.


04: Follow the steps according to the Reset Menu.

  • Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset (Seventh Option) → Yes (Second Option).


NOTE: QUICK press of the button will toggle through available Options, while a LONG press (3 seconds) of the button will select the highlighted Option.


05: Select Reboot System Now (First Option).

  • Your SV11 will will reboot, into the First Time Installation.
